On this page I will display current information about Kinders from all over
the world. I rely on the help of other collectors to keep the news
up-to-date. Please send me an email if you have new information.
September 2001
- Australia: try to get a use-by date of 24/04/02, there are some K01, some K99 and the Canadian mix of re-released
toys in there.
- The new Mega-Mice are out in Germany and I was told they are great. Also the toys of the new season are exciting too.
June 2001
- Nothing special here in Australia.
- Summer break in Germany. Their new series will come out mid August with the new hand painted series "Mega-Maeuse im Internet-Fieber"(Mice).
- Italy will have 12 new glowing ghosts.
March 2001
- Sorry for the un-updated list but we are very busy. I'm sure there are lots of new toys around all over the world.
And it's Easter time and many countries to have the Maxi Easter eggs too.
- Australia still has the K00 toys in the eggs. For Easter we are getting Maxi Eggs, so far I got 2 old German
toy out of it (a rooster running down a slope, and a very nice fire truck). There suppose to be 6 or 7 different
toys in it.
- Bad news for Australia's next toys - there won't be any new ones. As far as I know we will be getting a 'new' lot
before Christmas, a mix of K99 and K00 toys, and no hand painted figurines. I really hope that's not true - we will see.
- Any news at your end?
July 2000
- Galacteenies, the Italian Stralunaties, are landed in Australia. At the moment they are only available
in 3-packs in Coles Supermarkets. I got a special 3-pack with the Galacteenies on it from Ferrero. Unfortunately
we also get only the 8 figurines, the fireworker and the one with the matches are not in there. I guess the
same idiots who think that all the children in the USA would start eating the toys instead of the chocolate.
Where are the parents of these children who suppose to watch their little ones? Do we all have to suffer
because big companies are scared of Million-dollar lawsuits from these parents?
April 2000
- Germany is getting a fantastic hand painted Asterix set this year, there are also some very nice
Kitchen-Gnomes in the eggs.
- Together with the hand painted Asterix set there are also special Asterix toys in the German
Easter maxi eggs available. A giant jigsaw puzzle, an Asterix, Obelix and Idefix plush toy and
an Idefix belt. I'm a huge Asterix fan so I have to have them all! :-)
- Italy has pirate parrots as hand painted figurines together with their K00 toy range.
- Australia is finally getting the K00 range again in the eggs. still no hand painted figures inside.
- One week (!?) before Easter Ferrero Australia is selling Kinder Maxi Surprise in the shops (Franklins
sells them Australia wide, Woolworth is selling them in NSW too). The eggs contain the K99 Maxi-Range
but unfortunately without any Snoopy toys. The maxi toys are well made and great fun too.
They are a trial run, so people buy, buy, buy, buy, so we can have them for Christmas too!!!
- Of course, Italy is also getting their maxi eggs, Grand Sorpresa, with special Flintstones toys. They
look fantastic and I'm sad that I can't get any of them. There are 4 different plush toy and 4
put together toys with special Flintstones hand painted figurines. So it looks like there will be
Flintstones as stickfigures in the K01 range.
December 1999
- Germany has a special Party 2000 12-pack which contained a nice selection of toys plus 2 of 4
limited edition figurines. These figurines do something very specil, eg light up.

I'm having lots of fun putting them together. I will take pictures and add them to our site, gradually.
So far no hand painted figures but there are occasionally Dino Family and Beavers figures in the eggs.
We will see. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a special 2000 or Olympic set.
